Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Scroll Fuel — the scrollfuel.io website and the Scroll Fuel application. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

The service

Scroll Fuel generates advertising creative — images, video, and copy — for e-commerce products, and where you enable it, helps you publish that creative and attribute resulting sales. The product is under active development; features may be added, changed, or removed. We will not remove a feature that is material to a paid plan without notice to affected subscribers.

Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@scrollfuel.io if you believe your account has been compromised.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, as selected at checkout — and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method for the plan and any add-ons you purchase, including applicable taxes.
• You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then.
• Except where a refund is required by law, fees for a period already begun are non-refundable and we do not provide partial-period refunds. If something went wrong on our side, email us — we review refund requests individually and in good faith.
• We may change prices. Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before they take effect.
• If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until the balance is settled.

Your content

You keep all rights to the products, brand assets, images, and other material you upload or connect (“Your Content”). You grant us a licence to host, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate the service for you — including sending it to the AI model providers listed in our Privacy Policy. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, and for making sure it does not infringe anyone else’s intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights.

Generated output

Subject to your account being in good standing, you own the creative the service generates for you and may use it commercially. Two things you should understand about AI-generated output:

• Similar prompts can produce similar results for different customers, so we cannot promise your output is unique, and we do not claim exclusivity over it on your behalf.
• Generated people are synthetic and do not depict real individuals. You must not present generated creative as a genuine testimonial from a real customer or endorser, and you are responsible for any disclosure your jurisdiction or ad platform requires.

You are responsible for reviewing generated creative before you publish it, including the accuracy of any product claims it contains.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

• Create content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit.
• Generate a likeness of a real person without their permission, or impersonate anyone.
• Make false or misleading advertising claims, or promote fraud or deceptive schemes.
• Infringe intellectual property rights, including using brands you do not represent.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or attempt to circumvent limits, security, or authentication in the service.
• Interfere with the service’s operation or another customer’s use of it.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Where the violation is not severe, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it first.

Third-party platforms

If you connect a store or an advertising or social platform, your use of that platform is governed by that platform’s own terms, and you must comply with them — including their rules on advertising content and AI-generated media. We are not responsible for a third-party platform’s decisions, outages, or changes to its policies or APIs.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime commitment. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated creative will produce any particular commercial result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scroll Fuel is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Scroll Fuel harmless from claims arising out of Your Content, your use of generated creative, or your breach of these terms or of applicable law.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, for non-payment, or if required by law. On termination your right to use the service stops immediately; you may export your generated assets before closing your account, and we handle remaining data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will revise the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
